Meet Paula O’Meara
Paula is President of Alarm Star. Prior to that, she was the CEO of Engelmann Inc., at the time the largest custom home builder in Sun Valley, Idaho. Before that, Paula held positions as the HR Director for the largest cheese manufacturing plant in the world and a large Masonry Contractor in Vail, Colorado. With many years of experience in construction, business management and providing excellent customer service, Paula became interested in providing a service important to people in their home and work environment. Security was an obvious transition. In 2008, Paula bought a small alarm company, eventually purchasing Alarm Star, with a commitment to building the premier alarm company in Idaho. Through her experience in the construction industry, Alarm Star makes life easier for General Contractors due to a sincere understanding of their commitment to their clients, budgets and deadlines. Corporate clients are a also natural fit for her as she likes to solve their security problems. Through her experience with valuing the client, Paula truly cares about them, their families and business security needs. Paula feels fortunate to use her business experience and in an industry she’s passionate about – saving lives and increasing security by providing value-based security solutions.
